Virus shedding in 1-day-old and 2-week-old chickens infected with APMV-3. Virus shedding in oral secretions (O) and cloacal swabs (C) were measured for three birds from each group on the indicated days. Mean body weight was also measured at sacrifice. Sera were collected from three birds in each group on day 14 and mean APMV-3-specific HI titers were determined. The pre-infection and control HI titers were 2 or less.
