MTT Assay: neutrophil survival assay was carried out as described in Material and Methods section. Neutrophils were incubated with or without LPS (10 μg/mL) and transfected with siRNA against NMT1 (white) or NMT2 (black). Controls were transfected with scrambled siRNA (grey). Data presented are from three sets of experiments. The percent cell death was calculated by compared the siRNA transfected cells with those transfected with scrambled siRNA.
